Executive Vice President of Private Asset Management
Paul Mackin is Executive Vice President of the Private Asset Management Division and is responsible for its policies and strategic direction. He has been associated with Wafra since 1990. Before joining Wafra, he spent six years at Drexel Burnham Lambert Realty, Inc. where he was vice president and four years at Pannell Kerr Forster, an international public accounting firm. Mr. Mackin has a B.S. in Business Administration from Manhattan College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Michael Fong is a Senior Vice President of the Private Asset Management Division and is the manager of IMIL and IMIL II, existing mezzanine debt fund, and a manager of two venture capital funds which invest in technology infrastructure startups. Mr. Fong has been with Wafra since 2000. Previously, he was the director of research at Triton Partners, a debt fund management company, and managing member of Impala Capital, a hedge fund. Prior to that he was the head trader at Lazard Freres for the emerging markets fixed income desk. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Richard Tateossian is a Senior Vice President of the Private Asset Management Division, where he is a manager of multiple private equity funds of funds and two venture capital funds. He joined Wafra in December 1993. Mr. Tateossian holds a B.A. in Finance from Boston University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University Graduate Business School.
Mary Ellen Martir is the Controller of the Private Asset Management Division, responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of companies managed by the Private Asset Management Division. She was formerly chief accountant with Drexel Burnham Lambert Realty, Inc. Ms. Martir has been associated with Wafra since 1995. She has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University.
Kenneth Chan is an Associate with the Private Asset Management Division, responsible for credit analysis and monitoring of portfolio companies. Mr. Chan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University.
