Position: Associate/Senior Associate, Business Process Management (Alternative Investments Division)

Department/Position Summary:

The Alternative Investments Division (“AID”) manages approximately $17 billion and invests across various mandates that span financial services private equity, alternative real estate, infrastructure, private credit, liquid alternatives, and other opportunistic investments related to financial services and real assets.  The ideal candidate in this position will manage and optimize the Alternative Investments Division’s investment activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of support to the Alternative Investments Division on all related investment mandates, which are grouped into three main categories: Absolute Returns, Strategic, and Real Assets
  • Develop a strong understanding of the core responsibilities of all investment mandates, and partner with VP to identify areas of opportunity to develop and execute strategic changes for the team
  • Prepare and process trade-related activities, which includes but is not limited to subscriptions, redemptions, commitments/fundings, capital calls/distributions, and FX hedging
  • Manage the coordination of bi-weekly Investment Committees, weekly mandate-specific working groups, and ad hoc Allocation meetings (data organization, minutes, voting records)
  • Assist VP in executing quantitative and qualitative data for monthly investment update reports
  • Lead or participate in performing / monitoring cash reconciliations, distribution schedules, credit facility balances, Risk/Compliance/Legal requests for all deals
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; prior experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in managing and breaking down complex issues into simplified and clear solutions

 

A good faith estimate of the Base Salary Range is: $115,000-$145,000 with the possibility for a discretionary bonus.
