Position: Senior Associate-Operations Finance Administrative Assistant

Department/Position Summary:

Wafra pursues excellence in all areas of its operations and activities; the Wafra Operations Department (“Operations”) is no exception.  The Operations team is currently comprised of thirty-six seasoned CPAs, CFAs and Finance professionals with significant prior experience that includes leading financial institutions and Big Four accounting firms who collectively make up a diverse and dynamic team.  The Operations team provides services to the firm’s investors and investment teams including Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting, Investment Valuation, Investor Services, Middle Office, and Trade Processing, Settlement and Reconciliation.  We are looking for a motivated Operations Associate to support the carried interest programs and general partner/management company reporting.  This role will also own key business deliverables and make an impact on the performance of the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Managing Director with calendar and other administrative support items
  • Support the coordination, management, and administration of the firm’s carried interest programs from inception to distribution
  • Partner with the legal team to execute and track carried interest allocations status and maintain legal documentation for general partner entities
  • Support project manager(s) with stakeholder coordination and resource management to ensure the timely completion of the projects
  • Manage quarterly production calendar for the Operations team, including managing key deliverables, timeline, tracking open items, and escalating delays
  • Facilitate communication between teams within Operations to ensure the completion of quarterly deliverables
  • Ad hoc projects or initiatives within Operations


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of finance/alternative assets experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and quick learner
  • Outstanding time management skills and proven track record to manage multiple tasks and competing and shifting priorities are essential
  • Strong communication skills suited for working collaboratively with a broad range of individuals and effectively interacting with colleagues
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
