Position: Vice President

Reports to: Chief Compliance Officer

Position Summary:

The Compliance Vice President will focus on the core critical Compliance processes of the firm to meet the business objectives defined by the management team. The Vice President will partner with various teams across the firm to review and manage marketing materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the review and revision of external private fund marketing-related communications including, but not limited to, marketing materials, periodic reports and investor/consultant due diligence questionnaires
  • Collaborate with various teams, such as Business Development, Real Estate, Alternative Investment Division, and others, in gathering information, reviewing responses to various external inquiries, which could include regulatory and mock examinations
  • Support the broader Compliance Program, including policy review, training and testing
  • Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (JD not required)
  • Minimum two years of extensive experience reviewing and revising draft private fund marketing-related communications
  • Ability to identify and escalate conflicts of interest and related disclosure considerations for private equity firms
  • Superb writing skills with the ability to summarize and digest content quickly and clearly
  • Assertive and detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to spot issues and manage projects
  • Strong sense of collegiality and proven ability to work effectively with multiple constituencies
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work independently
