Chris Leak is a Managing Director at Wafra, leading the firm’s business development initiatives with an emphasis on building institutional relationships.
Previously, Mr. Leak was a Managing Director at Nuveen, where he served as a Board member for four years. Mr. Leak was responsible for building and leading Nuveen’s UK distribution team and raising capital across both public and private markets. Prior to Nuveen, Mr. Leak spent eight years at Oaktree Capital, where he was a Partner managing EMEA consultant relationships and leading Oaktree’s UK institutional and wealth businesses. Earlier in his career, Mr. Leak held roles at Hermes Investment Management, Barings and State Street.
Mr. Leak earned a BA, with honours, in Geography from the University of Leeds.
