David W. Hamm is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate at Wafra. Mr. Hamm chairs the Real Estate Investment Committee and is responsible for overall investment performance and the implementation of investment strategies for traditional real estate. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hamm served as Head of Real Estate Acquisitions at Wafra.
Mr. Hamm was previously a Managing Director at DWS RREEF America LLC, responsible for leading the East Coast transactions team focusing on office, retail, industrial and multifamily products for direct equity and structured debt investments. During his 19 years at DWS he completed more than $7.0 billion in transactions.
Mr. Hamm earned a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), ICSC and National Multi Housing Council (NMHC).
