Our traditional real estate strategies target core, core-plus and value-add acquisitions of hotels, office, retail and multifamily properties, with potential for enhanced value. Our investments provide a blend of current income and capital appreciation, while also managing to achieve strong operational performance. Through repositioning of these assets and leveraging our investment expertise, we seek to generate strong risk-adjusted returns.
Our alternative real estate program focuses on niche, scalable real estate sectors that have strategic value and high potential for growth, often requiring a sophisticated, tactical investment approach. Through a disciplined and thematic investment methodology, we identify opportunities in asset classes that are operationally intensive, fragmented and lack institutional capital. We have invested in data centers, medical office buildings, marinas, industrial outdoor storage, car wash platforms and single family rental communities, among other asset types, often creating platforms or partnering with well-established operators. We invest directly and in joint venture with best in class operating partners.
